The Central New York Crime Analysis Center (previously known as the Onondaga Crime Analysis Center) is part of a network of 10 real-time crime analysis centers supported by the New York State Division of Criminal Justice. Launched in 2008, the CAC received an upgrade in 2020. According to a press release, the CAC occupies 4,216 square feet of space on the second floor of the Syracuse Police Department and features a 16-foot wide by 4½-foot high video wall that displays "multiple sources of data and information in real time, including calls for service and feeds from public surveillance cameras, among other technology." It serves law enforcement agencies in Onondaga, Madison and Oswego counties.
