The Chardon Police Department received $15,000 from the Bureau of Justice Assistance to purchase 12 body-worn cameras through the 2022 Small, Rural, Tribal BWC Microgrant program. The Chardon Police Department received an additional $51,022 grant for body-worn cameras from the Ohio Department of Public Safety in December 2022.
