The Arizona Department of Transportation's Division of Motor Vehicles responds to external face recognition requests from law enforcement agencies and non-criminal justice agencies. A list of agency requests made during 2017 includes FBI FACE Services Unit, the Reno Police Department, the Colorado Department of Revenue, and the Rocky Mountain High-Intensity Drug Trafficking Area.
