Mokena Village Council entered into a five-year contract with Axon Enterprises in 2023 that will provide 35 new body-worn cameras for the village’s police force. The Mokena Police Department also received a Small, Rural, and Tribal Body-Worn Camera Program grant for $74,000 for 37 body-worn cameras in 2023.
