In January 2022, Ohio Governor Mike DeWine awarded $26,170.45 to the Xenia Police Division for expenses associated with launching or maintaining body-worn camera programs. The agency has used BWCs since 2015. The Xenia Police Division received an additional $27,700 grant for body-worn cameras from the Ohio Department of Public Safety in December December 2022.
