In 2017, the Chillicothe Police Department purchased Axon body-worn cameras at a cost of $250,000 over four years. The agency had previously used VieVu cameras. The Chillicothe Police Department received an additional $28,832 grant for body-worn cameras from the Ohio Department of Public Safety in December 2022.
