The Goshen Police Department has used body-worn cameras since 2014, but suspended the use of them for a time in 2017. In 2019, Goshen purchased new body-worn cameras for $471,000. The agency received a $19,600 grant for body-worn cameras from the Indiana Department of Homeland Security in 2022.

Many law enforcement agencies require officers to attach body-worn cameras to their chests or shoulders to capture interactions with suspects and the public. Some cameras stream live and can be combined with face recognition technology.
